Amersfoort Schothorst trainstation is an important railway junction in the city of Amersfoort, located in the Schothorst district. The station was renovated in 2024. More than 8,000 metres of thermally modified Ayous were used for the platform ceilings. This wood gives the station a natural look. We gave the wood a fire-retardant treatment with Flame Delay® SI so that it complies with all safety regulations and then finished it with Colorseen Timberstain FR in colour FR140414-C01.
