Living in the most circular wooden apartment building in the Netherlands?
BMB development and its partners have won the tender of the municipality of Monnickendam for the location at the Pierebaan in Monnickendam with their timber building concept M’DAM. The bar was set high to realise an extremely sustainable building with a social programme, an EPC of zero and no gas connection.
M’DAM was designed by product developer and architect Finch Buildings from Amsterdam. The co-engineering, prefabrication and construction of this unusual timber building concept is being carried out by De Groot Vroomshoop (also part of VolkerWessels). M’DAM will be completed on 18 November 2021.
